The exhibition took visitors on a journey through the history and experience of Hajj, with works and artefacts exploring and illuminating the pilgrimage. It presented artworks from MIA and objects from Qatari collections. The exhibition examined the history of this pilgrimage through the centuries, focusing on the rituals of Hajj as depicted through art, the routes taken and the experiences of pilgrims upon their return.
